These terms and conditions apply to the ordering of products in our online shop and to the sale of products in person, for example at events and Tophair Salon.
These terms and conditions are valid from 22.11.2024. We may unilaterally change our terms of delivery from time to time, so please check our terms of delivery each time you buy/order our products.
Products and product prices
Product features and prices are set out in the product description for each product. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery charges, so please check these prices at the time of purchase/order before accepting an order. Product prices include 25.5% VAT.
Delivery charges
Any delivery costs that may be charged when ordering from the online shop depend on the product itself (e.g. weight, packaging) and the delivery method chosen and are automatically added to the total amount of the order. You can see the shipping costs (if any) that will be charged for your order in your shopping cart before you accept the order.
Ordering and contract
You can order products on the website by filling in the order form and confirming your order by paying 50% of the total amount of your order using the payment link you will receive with your order confirmation. You can also purchase our products in person at events and sales where payment is considered a binding transaction.
When ordering from our online shop or purchasing products in connection with an event sale, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to our terms and conditions of delivery in force from time to time. You understand that any order or purchase transaction accepted and confirmed by us shall, except to the extent that the right of withdrawal is set forth below, be binding and shall create a contract with these Terms of Delivery between us.
Payment and payment methods
You can pay for your order in our online shop securely via the payment link that you will receive when you confirm your order.
For personal sales and transactions, we accept all major credit and debit cards with the Visa, V PAY, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Discover, Diners Club or Union Pay logo. In addition, you can also easily pay at events using Google or Apple Pay NFC mobile payment technology.
Order and payment confirmation
After a successful order in the online shop, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. In the case of in-person sales, the customer will receive a receipt for the transaction immediately after payment. If, for some unexpected reason, we are unable to confirm your order, we will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible.
Delivery method
In personal selling transactions, the customer will receive the product purchased immediately after payment has been made. For online sales, we will deliver your order according to your wishes, by post or by arranging an appointment at our premises.
Delivery time
Our most common delivery times to the EU depend on the product and the delivery method. The exact times are indicated in the product options.
Cancellation and return policy
If you are a consumer, you have the right under Finnish consumer protection law to cancel your order by notifying us within 14 days of receipt of the goods or of the last delivery or, in the case of regular deliveries, of the first delivery.
The notice of cancellation must be made clearly, for example, by using our cancellation form, by sending an e-mail to contact@avain.io or by sending a written notice with the goods to be returned.
The right of withdrawal only applies to unused products that are well packed in their original packaging for return (see the 'Beautiful You Genuine Products Terms and Conditions' for more details). The right of withdrawal does not apply to individually measured products.
In the event of cancellation, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after notification of cancellation to our return address (notification of return first by email, at which time the return address will be confirmed). If necessary, the person returning the goods must prove that they have been returned within the time limit, for example by means of a return receipt. The returning party must pay the costs of the return. These costs will not be refunded to the returning party.
When returning a delivered order, please include your name and contact details and your account number for the refund.
We will refund the money you have paid for the order accordingly without delay in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
Shipment check, error and problems
When ordering from the online shop, please check the delivery as soon as you receive it. If the product is lost or damaged during transit, or otherwise does not match your order or is faulty, please let us know as soon as possible and within 14 days at the latest by emailing contact@avain.io and we will agree how to rectify the error. In consumer transactions, we follow the mandatory consumer protection law provisions on liability for defects.

Disclaimer
A V A I N 22 Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage, direct or indirect, or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the order, delivery or product or any of the foregoing, except to the extent otherwise provided by mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law in respect of such loss or damage.
Disputes
We will endeavour to resolve any disputes regarding your order by agreement in the first instance, so please contact us in the first instance to settle the matter.
If a dispute over a commercial contract cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Helpdesk of the Registrar's Office (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
Force Majeure
The company is not liable for delays or damage caused by unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, wars, strikes or government regulations.

Confirmation of any order indicates your acceptance of our terms and conditions.
If you receive a cancellation with a defect, we will gladly return, repair or replace the product. Please note that for individually measured real hair wigs, defects do not apply to size, color or other custom requests.
Please remember that real hair wigs are made from real hair tied to the wig cap. Therefore, when you wear the wig, wash, comb, etc. the hair will naturally fall out. We cannot take responsibility for hair shedding if you use glue or gel or any product to set the wig, so we recommend that you do not use glue, gel or tape on your wig. Without proper care, applying glue/gel to the wig base can cause the gel to build up inside the net. When the gel is removed from the net, some of the hair will fall out.
It is important to note that we are dealing with real hair - and as with natural hair, the hair in a wig will always behave individually. Each hair is slightly different in texture and tone, and as a result the colouring result may vary. Similarly, the end result will never be exactly the same as another wig, even if the same colour shade is used. This makes each wig as unique as you are!
In particular, when talking about cold tones, it is important to understand the chemical behaviour of the hair: a cold tone is mainly composed of blue and violet molecules, which are smaller in size and therefore more fragile and quicker to wash. Over time, the hair therefore "loses" the cold pigment and naturally reverts to a slightly warmer colour - this is perfectly normal in your own hair too.
Remember to take care of your wigs. Full lace wigs will naturally deteriorate over time due to general wear and tear. Bleached knots and colour will also affect this, so please bear this in mind when buying our wigs. A V A I N 22 is not responsible for damage due to general wear and tear.
A V A I N 22 wigs go through an extensive dyeing/bleaching process (as well as knot bleaching) to achieve the colours, which makes our wigs susceptible to hair shedding. By accepting our terms of use, you understand that for this reason we cannot provide a refund for shedding.
All our wigs, except discount wigs, come with a 6 month free guarantee if the hair on the wig starts to shed significantly / bald patches appear or the colour fades. The wig guarantee is not a replacement for a new wig. It is a service where we replace or add hair if the wig goes bald.
Please note that the warranty does not cover:
Damage to the wig
Damage to the wig if the wig has been altered, e.g. dyed or bleached.
If the wig bottom (lace) is torn
If glue, gel or tape has been used when the wig is worn.
If the wig has been slept in
If the wig has been swum in
If the lace/net of the wig has been cut back beyond the hairline.
Please note that the warranty period for wig maintenance can be up to 3 months.
If your wig is faulty, you must comply with the following conditions:

Contact us immediately if you need to contact your retailer, contact your local distributor.
We cannot accept returned products with lace/mesh that has been cut or worn. Please be careful when fitting a wig and do not cut the lace/mesh.
Individually sized full mesh wig bases (Full Lace)
In the case of full lace wig bases, it is important to note that although it is designed to accommodate a wide range of head shapes, it may not fit perfectly to the individual features of the head. Full lace wigs are made from mesh throughout their construction, which makes them more flexible and versatile, but they do not offer quite the same precise fit as, for example, tailor-made wigs that are made to fit a specific head shape.
If a perfect fit is the primary objective, it may be necessary to consider an individually tailored option (custom-made wig), where the shape of the head is precisely defined by making a mould that provides an exact replica of the head shape for the manufacture of the wig.
Return and cancellation conditions
Can I cancel my order / return a product?
Yes, except for custom made products (custom length, density, size, style, colour or any requested change).
All wigs other than custom made wigs have a 14 day return policy from the date of delivery/purchase. Wigs must be returned in original condition. Customers are responsible for shipping costs and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We request that the buyer wear a wig sock when trying on the purchased wig for hygiene reasons and to allow for a refund/exchange. Any product that has been chemically or physically altered is no longer eligible for exchange or refund. This includes, but is not limited to:
Alterations to the wig, use of heat, etc.
Wigs may not be dyed, shaped, bleached, washed, brushed or combed.
Wigs may not be worn except for fitting.
The wig must not come into contact with food odours, smoke, hairspray or perfume.
The buyer is responsible for paying the return fee and must take care of the wig to be returned.
The buyer is responsible for the returned items until they reach us.

What if I am not happy with my wig?
If you feel that your new wig does not look right on your head, please consider the following:
It's normal to feel like you suddenly have too much hair. We've experienced the same thing! It's a change, and you need to give yourself time to adjust. We recommend wearing your wig at home and leaving it on for a while, getting used to the feeling and the reflection, and perhaps asking a relative or close friend with whom you feel safe for an opinion.
If you have bought a wig that is not tailored, it is important to note that the hair is made to suit a wide range of women.
If you are still not happy with your wig, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue.
Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Act, you may cancel your order within fourteen (14) working days of the date you receive the product or the date we start providing the service. Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, refunds for cancelled orders will be processed in accordance with your legal rights.
Please note that this does not apply to individually sized wigs.
